Reviews and Ratings
I had an absolutely delightful stay at the Glasshouse Hotel while celebrating my special birthday with my daughter. The location is perfect, right next to the Playhouse theatre. The staff offered exceptional and personalized service, ensuring every detail was catered to, and the ambiance was simply charming. I enjoyed relaxing in the stunning rooftop garden, but I thought the dining could provide a slightly more varied breakfast experience to match the high standards set by the rest of the hotel.
My stay at The Glasshouse was a mixed bag. The central location made it easy to explore Edinburgh's attractions, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our visit. However, the room I initially received didn’t live up to the expectations set by the hotel’s reputation, leading to some disappointment. On the positive side, the rooftop garden is a lovely feature, but some aspects of the room could use improvement, such as the lack of adequate storage and the awkward bathroom design.
My stay at The Glasshouse was an overall delightful experience. The warm welcome with a complimentary drink set the mood, and the staff were incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home. I loved the rooftop garden and the unique whisky bar, which added a special touch to our evenings. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, as the quality of the food didn't quite match the price. All in all, it’s a charming boutique hotel with great character and amenities.
My stay at The Glasshouse was largely enjoyable, with remarkable moments enhanced by the attentive staff. While the room had some cleanliness issues, which were disappointing for such a high-end place, the delicious breakfast and beautiful rooftop garden made up for it. I felt welcomed with thoughtful touches, but the hiccup with the in-room amenities could not be overlooked.
Our stay at The Glasshouse was delightful, featuring a stunning rooftop garden and a generous upgrade to a gorgeous suite. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. However, the odd lift layout may be inconvenient for some guests, especially those with mobility issues. Overall, we found great value in our experience, making it a memorable getaway.
